Symbiosis Finance’s native SIS token has been moved from the Ethereum network to Binance Smart Chain (BNB Chain) after a vote was held on the decision.

The token will retain its original function on the new blockchain, allowing users to access veSIS mainnet logic, receive farming rewards, and participate in voting through the Symbiosis DAO.

Switching to BNB Chain was motivated by cheaper transactions, and the fact that the service network of the second version of Symbiosis Finance is Boba BNB L2.

The collaboration has given the developers the ability to remain flexible in terms of security and the option to add different blockchains based on user and partner demand. The second version of the mainnet beta was announced by the Symbiosis Finance team at the end of 2022.
