Crypto platform Crypto.com has received a payment institution license from the Central Bank of Brazil.
Kris Marszalek, CEO of the company, has said:
“Brazil and the entire Latin American market are an important region for realizing our vision of cryptocurrencies in every wallet.”
Crypto.com received in August permission to operate with crypto assets in the UK. In the same month, it took over payment service provider PnLink and digital asset provider OK-BIT, both licensed by South Korean regulators.
The platform has earlier received approval for activity from the authorities of Italy, Greece, Cyprus, Singapore and Dubai.
