MicroBT and Heat Core Want to Reuse Heat From Miners

Miner maker MicroBT and Heat Core have entered into a partnership and launched a pilot project in the United States to hydro-cool equipment for BTC mining and recover generated heat.

They will reportedly test three use cases for the convection heating solution – fish incubator, greenhouse and space heating.

In the integrated Heat Core modules, heat is removed from the mining chips using water cooling. The Pennsylvania firm said the process was 95% efficient.

The Heat Core product line allows to select the required power for heating.

According to the company, they are committed to using green energy for mining.
