Polkadot founder Gavin Wood has stepped down as CEO of Parity Technologies, the organization behind the protocol.

According to Bloomberg, the position will be taken by the company co-founder Björn Wagner. Wood will remain the majority shareholder of Parity.

The organization published last month an overview of the project’s roadmap. The developers focused on categories such as scalability, parachain enhancement and connectivity, relay chain management, staking, and bridges to other ecosystems.

Michael Saylor stepped down in August as CEO of MicroStrategy, but remained the head of the board of directors of the company.
