Crypto exchange and wallet operator Blockchain.com has announced it plans to offer its users “.blockchain” domain names from the Unstoppable Domains provider. They can be used to send and receive cryptocurrency transfers.
Unstoppable Domains is an NFT domain provider. Each name is a non-fungible token issued on the Polygon network.
Users can link their blockchain address to this identifier to facilitate crypto transactions. Any transfers sent to his domain will be delivered to the corresponding wallet. This approach also increases the security of operations, since there is no need to disclose the public key.
To receive an ID, Blockchain.com users need to join a waiting list. The company’s clients will also be able to purchase third-party zone domain names and connect them to their wallets.
