Norway-based analytics platform Dune Analytics has closed a $69.42 million Series B funding round led by Coatue.

Following the investment round, the company’s valuation has reached $1 billion. The funds raised will be used to train, reward and empower the “next generation of Web 3.0 data analysts.” The startup also intends to expand to other blockchains with the addition of additional tools.

Dune Analytics interacts with Ethereum, Polygon, Optimism and xDAI data. The company developers plan to integrate all systems compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM).

Most of the platform’s functions are available for free, this means that its users can access the database and create dashboards. A paid option starting at $390 per month offers advanced customization options, private queries and data export.

Dune Analytics raised $2 million in September 2020 in seed funding. In August 2021, the startup closed a $8 million Series A funding round.
