Deutsche Bank plans to introduce a digital asset custody solution in 2026, Bloomberg reports.
The project involves Bitpanda’s technology unit and Taurus, a Swiss digital asset firm backed by the bank.
The move comes as institutional interest in crypto grows, supported by EU regulations (MiCA) and a more open U.S. regulatory approach.
Bitpanda, serving 20 million users, and Taurus, a leader in institutional crypto infrastructure, will help Deutsche Bank enter the custody space.
