On May 10, JPMorgan Chase, one of the largest financial companies in the United States, revealed that it had invested in multiple Bitcoin exchange-traded funds, including those offered by Grayscale, ProShares, Bitwise, BlackRock, and Fidelity.
According to a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission, the bank held approximately $760,000 in shares of the ProShares Bitcoin Strategy ETF (BITO), BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), Fidelity’s Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC), Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC), and the Bitwise Bitcoin ETF.
Additionally, JPMorgan Chase reported holding 25,021 shares, worth approximately $47,000, in Bitcoin Depot, a popular crypto ATM provider.
This disclosure was made on the same day as Wells Fargo also reported investments in Grayscale and ProShares Bitcoin ETFs, as well as Bitcoin Depot.
