Morgan Creek Capital’s CEO, Mark Yusko, predicts that Bitcoin has the potential to reach $250,000 in value. In the future, Bitcoin may even surpass gold in terms of market capitalization, which is traditionally considered the safest asset by most investors.
Yusko believes that trillions of dollars could eventually flow into digital currencies over the years. As the older generation of investors gradually begin to trust virtual currencies, Yusko predicts that institutional capital will enter the crypto industry in a gradual process.
Initially, he expects that around $400 billion will be invested in virtual currencies, which would represent 1% of the $30 trillion currently managed by investment funds and companies.
The CEO also notes that the baby boomer generation, born after World War II, is showing more trust in the crypto market.
