Google Adds Crypto Wallet Address Search Feature

Reading time: < 1 minute

Google now includes the option for users to search and view the balance of their wallets across multiple blockchains, including Bitcoin, Arbitrum, Avalanche, Optimism, Polygon, and Fantom.

When users enter their wallet address, the search will display the remaining token balance in the wallet per network, as well as the time when the balance was last updated.

According to Google’s search results, the balances only show the native token of each network, and the last updated timestamp reflects the balance as of the last external transaction.

However, these updates are not immediate. In addition to this feature, Google also recently added support for wallet balance searches for Ethereum Name Service (ENS) domains, which provides easy-to-remember domain names for users’ Ethereum wallet addresses.

This expansion builds upon Google’s initial support for Ethereum wallet balance searches in May 2021, where users could search for a specific public address and see the wallet balance directly in the search results.
