Changpeng Zhao, CEO of Binance, has emphasized the need for a secure and transparent regulatory framework that would enable the crypto sphere to take advantage of the traditional financial market.
He stated that Bitcoin is not a competitor to banks, as it is increasingly being viewed as a safe-haven asset, although this does not necessarily mean an increased sense of trust in the cryptocurrency market.
Zhao believes that if banks were to collaborate with crypto exchanges, it could facilitate the bridging of traditional finance and the crypto industry.
