NFT marketplace Blur intends to close a funding round that will result in the startup’s valuation reaching $1 billion.
According to The Block, the company planned to raise $15-$30 million, counting on a total cost of about $700 million. But during the subscription, investors exceeded the designated limit.
The platform airdropped the native Blur token yesterday.
The trading platform started work in October 2022. According to DappRadar, the daily trading volume on the marketplace is second only to the market leader, OpenSea.
A number of major exchanges like Coinbase, Huobi, Gate, KuCoin, Bybit, and OKX have confirmed the listing of the platform token.
