Amber Group’s Co-founder Passes Away

Amber Group co-founder Tiantian Kullander passed away on November 23, according to the website of the cryptocurrency platform.

The cause of death has not been reported. According to a press release, the entrepreneur is survived by his wife and son.

The company has said:

“Kullander was instrumental in the founding of Amber and has been one of the pillars of our success. He was on the board of directors of Fnatic and created KeeperDAO.”

Kullander worked at Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley prior to Amber Group. In 2019, Forbes included him in their annual 30 Under 30 list (Asia).

In February, the Singapore-based company raised $200 million at a $3 billion valuation and took over Japanese crypto exchange DeCurret.
