Joseph Lubin, founder of ConsenSys and one of the creators of Ethereum, has said that years from now, augmented and virtual experiences will change everyday life, but now the metaverses are like the World Wide Web in 1994.
He has added:
“Now using virtual sandboxes is a bit like connecting to the Internet in the early days. I dialed a number and went to breakfast while my email was loading.”
According to him, the metaverse will become in the future an immersive version of the Internet, despite their current “raw” nature. They will become as common as email.
He has explained:
“The Web3 experience isn’t as appealing, but it won’t last long. Then the masses will come.”
