Kris Marszalek, CEO of Crypto.com, has announced the company plans to lay off about 260 employees, or 5% of the entire workforce of the crypto platform.
According to him, the company needs to focus on fulfilling the roadmap and optimizing profitability. He has said:
“We will continue to evaluate how best to optimize our resources to be the winners during the next bull run.”
Crypto.com was hacked in January. Initially, the company denied the loss of funds, but then admitted the unauthorized withdrawal of $34 million.
