Tesla founder Elon Musk has recently made changes to his Twitter profile. Instead of his photo on the “avatar,” he has installed the image of many “bored monkeys,” which are part of a very popular NFT collection.
This has caused a mixed reaction among Musk’s subscribers. Some users suggested he might have decided to advertise the Bored Apes NFT project, whereas others gave a more generalized assessment of Musk’s actions, suggesting this was an early introduction to the metaverse and the release of his own collection of non-fungible tokens.
Musk’s new profile photo is a pixelated collage of images from the Bored Apes project. All the pictures depict “thoughtful monkeys.”
