The Dubai Digital Assets Regulatory Authority has announced that it plans to open a headquarters in The Sandbox metaverse.
The department has already acquired “land” in the world of virtual reality to this end, according to local outlet Emirates WAM.
The regulator, which controls the digital industry in the country, has said that the adoption of such measures will strengthen the interaction between crypto service providers, industry leaders and international regulators.
The direct implementation of the plan to open its official representation in virtual reality began just 2 months after the establishment of the office. The department was created on the initiative and with the full support of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
