BTC Miners’ Revenue Rises for First Time Since October

Reading time: < 1 minute

Bitcoin miners’ revenue increased by 14% in March 2022 compared to the previous month and amounted to about $1.2 billion. This rise represents the first time the indicator increases since October last year.

According to available data, the share of commissions in revenues amounted to more than 1%.

On the other side of the coin, the revenue of Ethereum miners continued to fall, decreasing by 9% to $1.63 billion last month.

Commissions usually represent a considerable part of ETH miners, which is at the moment the second largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization. However, in March, their volume fell by about 40% compared to February, to $424 million. Despite the 20% increase in revenue from mined blocks, this could not compensate for the fall.
