US payment company PayPal has recently announced it has formed of a multidisciplinary advisory board for blockchain, cryptos and digital assets.
According to the announce, the structure is intended to provide support for the company’s “current and future products” in the industry.
The company has said cryptocurrencies can provide “expanded access to financial services” and ensure these opportunities, it is important to interact with “the world’s best leaders.”
The members of the council include Fortress Investment Group CEO Peter Brieger and Georgetown University Law Center Professor Chris Brammer, among others.
The advisory body is chaired by PayPal Senior Vice President and General Manager José Fernández da Ponte.
