US actor Johnny Depp plans to sell 11,111 of his own paintings in the form of unique NFT tokens. Among them will be portraits of his friends and people who inspire Depp.
After Johnny Depp disappeared from the movie screens, the actor found a way to express himself in a new way. And at the same time earn money, because film companies are in no hurry to conclude new contracts with him.
Anyone will be able to purchase digital copies of portraits of Heath Ledger, Tim Burton, Elizabeth Taylor, Marlon Brando and Hunter Thompson, Depp himself, as well as his daughter Lily-Rose Depp, Mu the dog and the Bunnyman character fictionalized by the actor’s son on the site.
Each lot is a finished portrait created from Depp’s original artwork, then embellished and additionally animated.
Depp has been drawing for a long time, but he was embarrassed to show his work to the general public. He said:
“I have always had art in my life. Long before acting, long before music, it became my passion and necessity. I have always painted.”
The actor’s collection of paintings was called Never Fear Truth.
