Poland has taken a decisive step toward implementing the European Union’s Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulation.
The Polish Sejm voted in favor of the Crypto-Asset Market Act, a comprehensive bill that transposes the EU-wide framework into national law. The legislation establishes the Komisja Nadzoru Finansowego (KNF) as the official regulator and creates a formal licensing process for all crypto service providers.
This harmonizes Poland’s regulatory landscape with the broader EU, ensuring a unified set of rules for the crypto market.
