The US and UK have created a new task force to coordinate digital asset regulations. Announced by Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and UK Chancellor Rachel Reeves, the body will produce policy recommendations within 180 days.
The initiative, which follows a meeting with execs from Bank of America, Coinbase, Ripple, and others, aims to align both countries’ approaches to crypto markets and innovation.
The task force will operate under the existing UK-US Financial Regulatory Working Group (FRWG).
