Standard Chartered analysts have significantly upgraded their Ethereum price projections, now forecasting $7,500 by December 2025 (up from $4,000) and $25,000 by 2028 (up from $7,500).
The bank attributes the revision to explosive institutional demand, with corporate treasuries and ETFs buying ~3.8% of ETH’s circulating supply since June—nearly double Bitcoin’s peak rate.
Geoffrey Kendrick, Head of Digital Assets Research, noted that treasury firms alone acquired ~2.3M ETH, while ETFs contributed the rest. ETH’s 41% YTD surge outshines BTC’s 29%, reinforcing its status as a top-performing asset.
