US President Donald Trump is set to host the inaugural White House Crypto Summit on March 7, aiming to gather industry leaders to discuss regulatory policies, oversee stablecoins, and explore Bitcoin’s potential role in the US financial system.
The event will feature “prominent founders, CEOs, and investors from the crypto industry,” alongside members of the President’s Working Group on Digital Assets, as announced by David Sacks, the White House “AI and Crypto Czar,” in a March 1 post on X.
Sacks will chair the summit, with Bo Hines, the executive director of the Working Group, overseeing its administration.
Sacks was appointed as the White House Crypto and AI Czar on December 6, 2024, with a mandate to “develop a legal framework providing the Crypto industry with the clarity it has been seeking, enabling it to thrive in the US,” according to Trump’s announcement.
