The CEO of JAN3, Samson Moe, expressed his belief that the price of the first cryptocurrency will surpass $1 million in the upcoming years. This prediction was made during an interview on Peter McCormack’s What Bitcoin Did podcast.
Moe confidently stated:
“I think we will reach $1 million this year. If not this year, then next year, but it will happen very soon.”
This optimistic outlook is based on the combination of high demand driven by the anticipation of a supply reduction during the halving event.
Moe emphasized the importance of this event as a key factor in his projection. He also mentioned the increased capital inflows into spot Bitcoin ETFs as a contributing factor to the rising prices.
According to Moe, this will create a demand for Bitcoin due to the Veblen effect, where higher prices lead to greater demand.
