It is widely believed among financial experts that Bitcoin will become a popular method for protecting capital in the near future.
Anthony Scaramucci, founder of SkyBridge Capital, predicts that the value of Bitcoin could reach $1 million by 2030.
Bitwise analysts also foresee an increase in the value of the leading digital currency. According to Bitwise expert Ryan Rasmussen, Bitcoin’s price could reach $80,000 in 2024 if there is a rise in the supply of stablecoins.
These stablecoins are used to enter exchanges and purchase digital currencies.
The use of stablecoins is rapidly growing and is expected to surpass the transaction volumes of Visa, one of the world’s largest payment systems, in the near future.
Rasmussen believes that the launch of Bitcoin-based exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and the upcoming halving event in April will serve as catalysts for another price surge.
The analysts conclude that these factors will push the price of Bitcoin to over $80,000, setting a new record. The launch of ETFs and the halving event are considered to be the main triggers for this increase.
