PayPal is continuing to widen its range of crypto-related services as its portfolio of digital assets continues to expand.
Last month, the payments firm introduced an “on ramp” allowing customers to purchase crypto and a stablecoin with Paxos, plus a wallet integration with Ledger that enables US customers to use their PayPal account to buy Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Litecoin.
Adding to these services is an “off ramp” feature allowing crypto wallet users from the US to transfer their crypto into their PayPal balance for shopping or uploading the funds to their bank or debit card.
Moreover, web3 merchants connecting to the service will have access to advanced security controls and tools such as fraud management, chargebacks, and disputes.
