Hong Kong investors have closed the semi-annual fundraising period for their $100 million ProDigital Future fund, with around $30 million in investments.

Ben Ng of venture capital firm SAIF Partners, and Kurt Shih, a Chinese investor, are leading the fund, which is focused on China but also plans to invest in Australia, Singapore, Europe and the US.

Bloomberg has reported that the funding process has gone “relatively smoothly” despite some investor wariness of crypto projects.

ProDigital Future has already invested in six Web3 projects, such as GigaSpace metaverse and the Australian digital sports club One Future Football.
