HashKey Holdings Limited has launched its initial public offering, seeking to list its shares in Hong Kong. The company is the operator of the city’s largest licensed digital asset exchange.

This IPO is historic, representing the first listing attempt by a company whose principal business is running a cryptocurrency exchange in Hong Kong. OSL Group, another platform operator, was already publicly traded before focusing on crypto.

Per the prospectus filed Tuesday, the global offering comprises 240.57 million new shares. A fraction of these, 24.06 million shares, are earmarked for retail investors in Hong Kong, while the rest are planned for international placement.
