Venture capital investment in crypto skyrocketed in the third quarter, hitting $4.65 billion. This represents a massive 290% quarter-on-quarter jump and is the sector’s second-strongest quarter since the FTX collapse froze investor enthusiasm.
According to Galaxy Digital, the rebound was driven by 414 deals, with half the capital concentrated in just seven, including major raises from fintech giant Revolut and crypto exchange Kraken.
The data indicates that despite a lull, venture interest in core crypto sectors like AI and infrastructure remains robust.
