Metaplanet, a Japanese firm known for investing in Bitcoin, has bought another $112 million worth of the cryptocurrency.
This latest purchase of over 1,000 Bitcoin brings the company’s total stash to 20,000 Bitcoin. Because of this large holding, Metaplanet is now one of the top six public companies in the world that own the most Bitcoin.
The company has said it plans to raise even more money—about $880 million—specifically to buy more Bitcoin soon.
