The growing institutional footprint on Ethereum is becoming increasingly evident, with US spot ETFs and digital asset treasuries now collectively controlling over 7% of ETH’s circulating supply.
Recent on-chain data reveals Ethereum ETFs alone hold 6.3 million ETH ($26.7 billion), accounting for 5.1% of the network’s total supply, while Coinbase reports digital asset treasuries maintain an additional 2% stake.
This accumulation comes despite recent volatility in fund flows. After recording $3.7 billion in inflows over an eight-day streak – including $2.85 billion last week – the ETFs saw $196.6 million in outflows Monday, their second-largest single-day withdrawal since launch.
At press time (1:30 a.m. ET Tuesday), ETH showed modest weakness at $4,239 (-1.5%), while BTC remained essentially flat at $115,299 (-0.1%).
