Bo Hines, leader of the White House’s crypto advisory council, is leaving his post, per journalist Eleanor Terrett. Deputy Patrick Witt will reportedly take over.
Hines, a Trump appointee, confirmed the move on X, saying he’ll stay on as an advisor while returning to the private sector. He previously met with 150+ crypto industry figures in just three months.
Witt, his replacement, is a former Trump administration official who once ran for Congress with Peter Thiel’s backing before a failed state office bid.
