This move strengthens Wintermute’s presence in the world’s largest financial market, serving as the cornerstone of its US operations.
The New York office is a significant milestone in Wintermute’s global strategy, enabling it to build closer relationships with US-based partners and counterparties.
As part of this expansion, Wintermute appointed Ron Hammond, former Senior Director of Government Relations and Institutional Engagement for the Blockchain Association, as Head of Policy and Advocacy.
Hammond will spearhead policy engagement in the US, leveraging the firm’s market expertise to interact with policymakers.
