ProShares appears poised to introduce three innovative futures-based ETFs tied to XRP – Ripple’s native cryptocurrency – potentially as early as April 30.
The firm’s amended prospectus, filed on April 15, outlines plans for a trio of products designed to give investors diverse exposure to the digital asset’s price movements.
The proposed offerings include a Short XRP ETF for bearish investors looking to capitalize on potential price declines, an Ultra XRP ETF targeting double the daily returns of XRP’s performance, and an UltraShort XRP ETF structured to deliver twice the inverse (-2x) of XRP’s daily movements.
These products, initially proposed in January, have now reached a critical procedural milestone through a filing mechanism that allows them to automatically become effective on April 30 unless the SEC raises objections.
