NYSE Arca has submitted a 19b-4 filing to the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to facilitate the listing and trading of a Dogecoin (DOGE) exchange-traded fund (ETF) offered by Bitwise.
According to the filing, Coinbase Custody will serve as the custodian for the ETF, while the Bank of New York Mellon (BNY Mellon) will handle cash management, administration, and record-keeping duties.
This 19b-4 filing for the Dogecoin ETF follows Bitwise’s submission of an S-1 filing with the SEC over a month prior.
The filing specifies that the ETF will primarily hold Dogecoin as its asset and will calculate its Net Asset Value (NAV) daily using the CF Dogecoin-Dollar Settlement Price, a standard pricing benchmark. This structure ensures that the ETF’s value closely tracks Dogecoin’s market price.
