Billionaire Peter Thiel’s empire, Founders Fund, has put $200 million into digital currencies. Specifically, the funds were directed towards Bitcoin and Ether, according to Reuters.
In January 2018, it was first revealed that Thiel had acquired BTC.
The Wall Street Journal reported that he initially invested $15-20 million in cryptocurrency. In 2022, Founders Fund sold the cryptocurrency and earned a profit of $1.8 billion.
After that successful investment, the company resumed putting money into Bitcoin, making it one of the earliest firms to enter the crypto market.
